As the sun sets, you don your dive gear, slip on your scuba mask and bite down on
your dive regulator. A deep breath and you step off the boat – into the underwater
night. Although you’ve seen this reef many times before, this time you drop into
a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light.
What will I learn?
You'll learn night dive planning, organization, techniques, potential problems, and
the logistics of night diving. In addition, you’ll encounter nocturnal aquatic life
that you normally wouldn’t see during a daytime dive!
What are the prerequisites?
-PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
-Minimum age: 12
What materials will I need?
-If Advanced OW or Rescue, you will need a mask, snorkel, and fins.
-Divemasters need all equipment (including a primary and backup dive light) with
the exception of tanks and weights.
-Open Water Students will have all gear provided to them as part of the course

How many dives are involved?
-There are three open water dives over one or two days
